Hi we have been working on some cool new features to help you and others in your job searching efforts
New features include :
- adding notes to job posting to help you track your job hunting efforts
- you may now report jobs as expired
- you may also exclude job offers from your job search results
- you may relocate a job offer for which the location is not specific enough

New Features

It’s been a while since the last post and a lot has happened since then, but some that cannot be seen.
What can be seen is :
- you may now save to your favorites any job posting
- you may see your commute for any job posting
- employers may now do a location based resume search, meaning that they can search resumes of job seeker willing and able to commute to the job location
- when a job posting is viewed by someone, it’s automatically sent to our twitter account and is geo tagged.
I will try to keep the updates closer, since you are searching for a job closer to your needs.
I’m still working on the next features, if you want something special leave a feedback on the site.
New Feature – Build your resume

Today we launched a new job seeker feature: Build your resume.
Where you can build an HTML resume, that can even be cut and pasted from word or a simple text document.
To insert your word resume simply click on the word icon in the resume builder, you will be prompted for the word document content.
There are some security features for resumes:
- you can make your resume public, which will be visible to all members of jobtrottr.
- you can activate your resume to be searchable only by verified employers
- the contact section of your resume is only visible to verified employers
What is a verified employer ?
A verified employer, is one that has paid for the resume browsing service.
